Small Grants Programme India: Call for Proposals

Offered multiple times during the year

The Small Grants Programme (SGP) was launched by the Global Environment Facility through the United Nations Development Programme to assist developing countries in fulfilling their commitment of protecting the environment through local actions. The SGP calls for proposals within the categories of biodiversity conservation; climate change; protection of international waters; prevention of land degradation; and phasing out of persistent organic pollutants/chemical management. The SGP invites proposals from non-government organizations and community based organizations who have been registered for more than three years and have three years’ audited accounts. SGP will consider grants of up to INR 18 lakhs for each project.
