Cooperation to address the complexities of water management

The session is organized jointly by Global Water System Project, International Institute of Applied System Analysis and Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. It focuses on the critical role of cooperation among decision-makers in water resource management at different levels in the public and private economic and social sectors. Representatives of GWSP will discuss water threats and water security and how to make future scenarios more policy relevant.

Cooperation towards Quality Standards for Aquatic Ecosystems

Under the aegis of UN Water Thematic Priority Area “Water Quality“, an international project is launched to develop comprehensive international water quality guidelines for various aquatic ecosystems worldwide. The event is convened by GWSP and co-convened by United Nations Environment Programme and United Nations University Institute for Environment and Human Security.
