Finance and administrative officer at at LOICZ IPO

At the Institute for Coastal Research, the Global Change research project LOICZ (Land-Ocean Interactions in the Coastal Zone) invites applications of a highly motivated Finance and Adminstrative Officer. The successful applicant will be part of a small dynamic team in the international project office, IPO (currently 3-4 people). The global LOICZ project engages a multiplicity of natural and social scientists and projects to study the influence of global and climatic change and in particular the role of humans in coastal zones.
The position holder is in charge of day-to-day office management and financial administration of LOICZ and its scientific activities in close collaboration with the GKSS host institute and external donors. He/she also oversees and coordinates the provision of IPO services including databases (projects and contacts), public relation, science communication and publications in general and links with affiliated research projects and external partners.
