Science policy journalism internship with Research Africa

Research Africa, the science policy news service for Africa, is offering an IDRC-funded nine-month journalism internship for an African national.

The opportunity is open to mid-career (3+ years of experience) journalists with an interest in the politics behind the science headlines. The intern will mainly be based in Cape Town, South Africa. Parts of the internship will take place in another key location on the African continent as well as in London, United Kingdom.

A high level of competence in writing in English is essential. It is expected that the candidate will take a 9-month sabbatical from his or her job to take up the internship.
