Programme Scientist, Global Crop Diversity Trust

The Global Crop Diversity Trust (GCDT) is an international organization whose mission is to ensure the long-term conservation and availability of crop diversity for global food security.
The Trust is building and managing an endowment fund to support ex situ collections of unique crop diversity in an effective and efficient global conservation system. Through a separately-funded Global System Project, the Trust is working in partnership with genetic resources programmes and research institutions worldwide to rescue and secure threatened collections of crop diversity and improve related global information systems to promote access and use of the diversity.
The Global Crop Diversity Trust is seeking candidates with international experience for the position of: Programme Scientist.
Under the direct supervision of the Senior Science Coordinator and the overall supervision of the Project Manager, the Scientist will work as part of a team implementing the Trust’s Global System Project.
