Australia is an affiliated member National Committee.
Australia’s DIVERSITAS Coordinating Group promotes the need for, and application of, biodiversity science throughout Australia. It engages widely with government agencies (at National and State level), non-government conservation organisations, and the university sector. Members are also strongly linked with, and involved in, global DIVERSITAS activities including bioGENESIS, bioDISCOVERY, and GEO BON, and various international initiatives within the Asia-Pacific region.
